This weekend has been absolutely wonderful, for the most part! I've had such a great time spending time with our families and friends this weekend. On Friday, I went shopping with Mom, Dad, and London to find Easter dresses for church on Sunday. We spent the whole day shopping and spending time with one another, it was a fun-filled day.
Saturday morning I went yard-selling with my Aunt Teresa and although it was pretty much a bust, we did have a great time spending time with one another.
Secondly, we had Easter dinner at Memaw and Pepaw's and enjoyed a wonderful dinner and a fun-filled Easter Egg hunt. It always amazes me at how grown up Khade has become, and I always have a lot of fun seeing and playing with him.
Next, we enjoyed an amazing Easter Sunday service at New Macedonia Baptist Church in Loudon. Chris and I have "church shopped" since we got married, and I actually feel like this is the church for us. Every Sunday that we walk in, we are treated like we've been members there our whole lives. I'm glad to think that we may have found a church to raise our "future" children in one day. We even tried out Sunday School, and Christopher thoroughly enjoyed the class, as did I. The church put on an Easter program that reenacted the crucifixion and rising of Christ. It was touching, and a wonderful program.
After Church we went to Jeff Abston's house to enjoy a nice Easter dinner and another egg hunt. It was a lot of fun to see Brooklyn and London hunt Easter eggs. They were so cute in their matching dresses and hairbows that mom bought for them. I enjoyed spending time with friends that we rarely see anymore, and enjoyed meeting new people. Katrina's husbands' family, The Goins, are amazingly sweet people. I have enjoyed getting to know them through church and other functions, and I am glad to have met them.
After Easter dinner, we went back to mom and dad's house and spent time outside playing on the four-wheeler, the mini-bike and the men working on the old '67 Mustang. It was a great end to a wonderful weekend.
Yesterday (Monday), was a rough day at work, the twins still have a stomach bug, and today (Tuesday) I am in bed and not feeling so hot either. I hope that we all feel better soon, and I also hope that Christopher does not end up getting sick with this either. We all know that he's got enough going on right now.
