This very well may be the best Thanksgiving, ever! There is so much to be thankful for! First off, Bekah surviving the horrific car accident 2 1/2 weeks ago! Next, her being able to regain feeling and movement in her feet and legs again to be able to walk. Lastly, that we get to bring her home today!! Woo-Hoo!!
Mom and Bekah are able to come home after being at the hospital(s) for weeks! I know they are extremely excited... one pitfall- they are being re-routed to Bubba and Celecta's house because Mom and Dad's house flooded last week when the hot water heater busted and now all the floors are being replaced. Who knows how long that will take to fix!
If anyone has not seen it- I posted a video on my facebook that shows Bekah jogging! Can you believe it? Bekah is such a blessed girl because it could have been so much worse! In my opinion, Bekah should become a motivational speaker because if it weren't for her faith and good attitude, she would not be thriving at the inconceivable pace that she is.
On another note- I got the job at The Primrose School. I am the Infant Teacher, which anyone who knows me will know thats right up my alley. Yesterday, I learned that for the next school year, they will be adding a Kindergarten position and I'm very interested in that. I've also have some other "future" prospective jobs that would make me very happy! It will be so nice to have a paycheck again! It's hard to believe that I have less than 5 days left of student-teaching! It's flown by so fast!
Graduation is officially less than one month away! That's so exciting! I think i'm going to take 6 months off, and then (before student loans start rolling in) I will re-enroll for either additional certs, or start on my Master's degree. I'm still deciding!
Well- today we are going to Athens to see Chris's Memaw and Pepaw, and I cannot wait to see them! We aren't going to be able to make it down there tomorrow because of all the stuff going on with Bekah, so we are going to have a nice, quiet lunch with them today.
One last thing- any of Bekah's friends that want to come see her now that she is "home" is welcome to! Just call/text/facebook one of us and we will get you directions!
