Life this week....

There's been a lot going on in the family lately, and the stress has become a little overwhelming. I'm on a new medication that is supposed to help with the PCOS that I was diagnosed with, and it seems to have my hormones on high alert lately. I've been feeling like everywhere that I turn, a door shuts in my face. I'm also dealing with some issues with myself that I could use a little help in prayer with. Also, Kramer is not feeling very well. He was playing with some other doggies a few weeks ago and somehow slipped a disk in his back. He spent the past weekend in the vet ER resting, and taking medications. Mom and dad brought him back home today, but he has to remain in a kennel for two entire weeks to prevent further damages to his back. This will be very hard for dad to do, because he's used to having Kramer by his side all the time!

On top of all of that, Chris has to have surgery next month on his bladder. The doctor believes that the infection that has had his prostate so out of whack lately, may be from an infection inside of his bladder. I am sure that this is going to help Christopher a lot, and hopefully make him feel totally back to normal.

And on TOP of ALL of that, next Thursday is my last day watching the twins before I have to quit to start my student teaching. This Saturday I take the final two praxis II tests that determine my certification for teaching in the state of Tennessee. I passed the first two, so let's hope that these last two are just as easy as the last two. I feel pretty confident in it!

On a happier note, I started a new job this past week that will really help us out while I student teach. Our friend Josh's mom (Joan) hooked me up with a receptionist job that I will be doing every afternoon from 4-7 p.m. after student teaching. My first day was last Friday, and I really enjoyed it. I know that it will be a great fit for me while I continue my education.

Lastly, I would like to share about what a great church service and baptism this weekend at Mountain View Church of God. It was a very emotional and spiritual service that I thoroughly enjoyed. My mom was baptized afterwords in the lake, and it was a very beautiful ceremony.

That's all for now!
